The Perfect Lift has been a God sent gift. My son Tanner is 15 years old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. In January 2020 while getting into bed, Tanner took a fall and we ended up in the ICU at the local hospital. Unfortunately, this hospital was ill equipped to move my son from his chair to the x-ray machine and hospital bed and knew very little regarding his condition. We fortunately had our lift with us as it is always on his chair, so my husband and I were able to get him into the hospital bed. Once we were discharged the hospital sent us home with equipment that was to large for our small home. Again, we used the Perfect Lift to transfer my son and never the equipment they sent.
Fast forward to September, and we learned Tanner had a tumor in his spin. He underwent a 12 hour surgery and again the local hospital was ill equipped to care for my son. The doctors would tell us to no move him where his back could curve. How do you do this when his can’t walk nor can he use the lift they provided because it does not support his back. So, we pulled out the Perfect Lift which allows us to move him in a position that supported his back.
The Prefect Lift should be a stand piece of equipment for every school, hospital, and household with a non-ambulatory individual. I could go on and on regarding how much this lift has given us freedom and peace of mind.
